As a long-time advocate for Oregon workers and families, I understand how important it is that our elected officials bring the right priorities to their service. Luckily, the Democratic voters of HD 14 have the option to elect another hard-working progressive this May—Julie Fahey.
Julie and I met through Emerge Oregon – an organization that recruits and trains Democratic women to run for office so that our elected officials and policies better reflect the communities they serve. She is smart and cares about our community – just the type of person we need in Salem!
When Julie was the Chair of the Democratic Party of Lane County, we worked together to pass a Paid Sick Leave law in Eugene. That local win strengthened the coalition of progressive groups that also fought and won Sick Time Leave statewide AND an increase to Oregon’s minimum wage.
When Democratic women serve in government: working families are prioritized. And that’s why I’m working incredibly hard to make sure Julie is our next state representative.
Julie is supported by NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon, The Mother PAC, and the Women’s Investment Network. And just this week she joins progressive champions around the country as one of only three candidates in Oregon endorsed by EMILY’s List:
Julie Fahey is the strongest candidate for House District 14, and the progressive community has taken note.
